Hello! I am Thomas Jacob, a self-taught sculptor and micro miniature artist. My journey into the world of art began at a very young age, where my fascination with colors and shapes led me to draw and paint extensively. However, it was modeling shapes that truly captivated my imagination.
At the age of 10, I discovered the art of micro carving. It all started when I began collecting broken chalk pieces discarded by my teachers. With a compass in hand, I attempted to carve a human face into an ink-dipped chalk piece. This marked the beginning of a new artistic journey for me. With no references or mentors, I practiced diligently, gradually perfecting my hobby into creating more complex and sophisticated chalk sculptures.
My artistic exploration didn't stop there. I ventured into crafting intricate sculptures on pencil graphite, adding a whole new dimension to my art. The intricacy and detail of my work have garnered worldwide attention, earning me recognition and awards on the international stage. Notably, I have won the prestigious Internationale D'Art Miniatures held in Quebec, Canada, for three consecutive editions.
I create custom intricate sculptures, wall art, and artworks for private collections, galleries, marketing campaigns, and more. Additionally, I specialize in one-of-a-kind micro sculptures on the tip of pencil graphite that stand out amongst the crowd. Since 2017, I have expanded my artistic endeavors from creating tiny micro sculptures to large wall sculptures. I specialize in 3D wall bas relief sculptures, bringing a whole new dimension to your walls.
